Who We Are

We want welcome you to our website. We are so glad you have taken a few moments to look around, discovering our church family. When we describe our church to people, we use words like ‘community’ and ‘family’.

We are people committed to following Jesus. That means we worship him with vigor and joy. We encourage prayer in church and throughout life. We love people outside the church through generosity, invitation, and compassion.

Our hope is that everyone we encounter will feel loved and welcomed. And once here, we pray that people will meet God and as a result of meeting God, give their lives to Jesus Christ.

Come as you are but you will never leave the same.

OUr beliefs and mission

We exist to bring glory to God

by making disciples
through Christ centered, bible based worship,
community, service and multiplication.

We worship.

Worship is the fuel for discipleship. We are called to eat, drink, speak, think and work to the glory of God. We worship God by remembering the gospel through preaching, teaching, singing, praying and expressing what God has done for us to one another.

We belong.

Community is the context for discipleship. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation; we were made for relationship with God and for relationship with each other. We belong not merely to a local church, but to a people.

We serve.

Service is the overflow of discipleship. It seeks to extend God’s grace and mercy to others for His glory and not our own. We serve as an expression of love and stewardship of grace, marked by humility, generosity and hospitality.

We multiply.

Multiplication is the result of discipleship. We become better disciples through love for God and love for others by equipping and empowering others to do the same. We multiply the kingdom by living with the purpose to make God known and enjoyed.

what's the difference?

Our services are all inclusive. We welcome children even crying infants in our services. If you are divorced, remarried, single or just celebrated your 50th wedding anniversary, God loves all of us the same and so do we. Our slogan has always been “Come as you are but you will never leave the same.”

God is not concerned with outward appearances neither or we.

Our platform is based solely on the Holy Bible and our message is always at the direction of the Holy Spirit. We believe messages by way of the Holy Spirit are not only tailor made for the messenger but for the receiver as well.

I would like to give you a glimpse of our worship on Sundays. We begin by an entrance song which gives our church family time to talk, fellowship and settle in their seats. We then have a traditional hymn to welcome everyone, new visitors and long time members; followed by a few announcements of the week, this is also where we take any prayer requests that are needed.

After our announcements we have a short children’s sermon where all children (young, old, or just children at heart) come to the front and sit down to enjoy a bible story. They will receive crayons to color in the bulletin; we put a coloring picture on the back page as a clue to what the children’s sermon will be about. It’s fun to try and guess each week, and most times we have a treat that goes along.

After the children are dismissed we have a special song, usually a more modern Christian song, before our sermon begins. We have words on a screen if you want to sing along. We’ll have our sermon followed by a benediction, sometimes this is a movie/song on the screen, and sometimes it’s a live song. Either way we know it will touch your

heart just the same. We have all our services from 10 am to 11 am. Come join a worship service and feel fellowship that comes when people spend time together with the Holy Spirit present. Enjoy the website, then come. We’d love to get to know you.
